Camping Kitchen

At long last, my dream was realized. After literally years of wanting to build a camping kitchen, I finally got a Round Tuit.

The object is to have this somewhere, completely stocked. It fits perfectly into the back of a pickup or the back of my Blazer. All you need to do is bag up food, clothes and you are off camping with everything you could possibly need to cook outdoors. Just open your tailgate and you are ready to cook.

That led to the camping trailer that totes the heavier equipment, tents, and such, but that's for another day.

Besides what you can obviously see, the drawers hold silverware, knives and cooking utensils, and spices.  Above the drawers are jars containing sugar, coffee, hot chocolate, basics. Behind the coffee pot is a water jug. Inside the wash tub are sponges, cleaning supplies, pot holders.  The only item that does not fit inside the kitchen is the large water kettle. The picture was taken before the hinged door was put in place and handles were mounted on the sides.

If you are interested in knowing when the plans for the camping kitchen are posted, please email Anne.
